  • A: In-stock items ship within 2–3 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces usually take 1–2 weeks depending on workload. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once it ships.

  • A: Yes. Small-batch custom work is available for restaurants, gifts, and special sizes. Typical lead time is 1–3 weeks. Use the Contact Page to start a request.

  • A: Yes. All pieces are finished with natural oils and a beeswax/carnauba blend — safe for food contact and free of synthetic coatings.

  • A: Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry upright. Never soak or put in the dishwasher. Reapply board balm or mineral oil monthly, or whenever the surface looks dry. See full details on the Care & Materials page.

  • A: Stock items can be returned unused within 14 days of delivery. Custom or engraved pieces are final sale. If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days for repair, replacement, or refund.

  • A: ArdentWood regularly attends artisan and maker markets around Tucson. Follow us on Instagram or check site updates for upcoming event dates and locations.

  • A: Mainly walnut, mesquite, cherry, and olive — each chosen for its character and durability. Grain and color variations are natural and expected.

  • A: Everything is built start-to-finish in Tucson, Arizona, in small batches.

  • A: Wood expands and contracts with humidity. Small changes are normal. If a board cracks under normal use within six months, reach out for repair or replacement support.
